The Minerva Masonic Hall stands on the corner of Prince Street and Dagger Lane, in the oldest part  of Kingston upon Hull, not too far from the Hull Minster.  The building was originally a Presbyterian Chaple built in 1698 but has been a masonic hall for almost 200 years.

The main entrance is on Prince Street, arguably the most photographed street in the city.

The building is often described as a ‘Tardis’ – it looks smaller from the outside than the inside.  The entrance hall leads in the lounge bar and the function room, off which the kitchens are located.  Our catering staff can accommodate 100 sit-down covers and 120 buffet style refreshments, and the bar is well stocked, over stocked according to the stock-taker!

From the hallway a staircase leads to the upper floor and the two lodge rooms.  The first is the main lodge room and is often described as the most ornate lodge room in the country.  The second lodge room, slightly larger than the first, is called the red Room. 

Both lodge rooms are licenced to conduct weddings and civil ceremonies.  The building can be hired for weddings, receptions, social events, training, and small conferences.  We have wi-fi, data projection and screen, and a full audio system.  Enquiries and a hyperlink to our other website are below.
